Refill a prescription.

Refilling your prescription is simple when you follow the right steps. Whether you’re staying on track with your treatment or preparing for your next dose, a few essential actions are needed.

Here’s a straightforward guide to securing your refill, keeping up with notifications, and ensuring you meet the requirements for your next supply.

Step 1
Complete the refill form.

To begin your refill, log into your portal and complete the refill form. Your prescription won’t be shipped until this form is submitted, so be sure to log in as soon as you receive a notification!

If you’re unsure when to start, don’t worry—we’ll send you an email and text reminder when it’s time to fill out your form.

Step 2
Expect a notification.

You will receive a notification when it’s time to fill out the refill form.

Patients on oral medication can access their refill form after 21 days, while those on injectables will receive it after their third dose.

Step 3
We're with you every step.

If we notice anything concerning in your refill form, we may request additional lab work sooner than the usual three-month cycle to ensure your treatment aligns with your current health needs.

A provider might also need to speak with you before approving your prescription, requiring an appointment scheduled through your portal.

Please note that changes in your health status could lead to disqualification from treatment.

3 essential tips for staying on track

Staying on track with your treatment is essential for the best results. Here are a few key tips to help you manage your dosage, request adjustments, and ensure a smooth refill process.

1

If your prescribed dosage doesn’t feel right, consult one of our providers.

2

Missing more than two weeks between injections requires restarting at Level 1.

3

You can request a dosage increase on your refill form—just make sure your labs are up to date when needed.

Dosage changes & missed doses: what to do

If you miss a dose of your injection or oral medication, take it as soon as possible—unless it’s close to your next scheduled dose. In that case, reach out to us so we can connect you with a medical professional for guidance.

If you’re experiencing side effects or feel your dosage needs adjustment, consult your provider. Avoid making changes on your own, as this could affect the medication’s effectiveness or lead to unwanted side effects.

Will other medications be prescribed with my GLP-1?

Our clinicians assess your health profile to determine any additional medications that may support your treatment. If you receive a text about picking up medication from a local pharmacy, it’s likely for anti-nausea meds, which are not included in your subscription.

1
Gradual Dosage Increases

Both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide dosage adjustments must be made under provider guidance.

2
Consult Your Provider

If your dosage doesn’t feel right or you have concerns, always check with your healthcare provider.

3
Missed Doses Matter

If you miss more than two weeks of injections, you may need to restart at the lowest dose.

4
Stay Updated on Changes

Keep track of any adjustments to your oral Semaglutide dosing schedule and follow your treatment plan.

Continuing a prescription from another provider

If you’re switching from another company and want to stay on the same dosage, we’ve got you covered! Here’s what you need to do:

How to continue previous dosage

To continue your previous dosage, simply submit proof of your most recent prescription through your portal or by emailing us directly.

We’ll review your documents carefully, but final approval of your dosage depends on your provider’s evaluation of your ongoing treatment needs.

1. Submit Prescription Proof

Provide documentation of your most recent prescription. This helps us verify your current dosage accurately.

2. Upload Documents to Portal

Once you have your prescription images, upload them directly into the Documents section of your portal for our team to review.

3. Approval Isn’t Guaranteed

While we strive to match your previous dosage, approval depends entirely on your provider’s assessment of what’s best for your ongoing treatment.

4. Email Us (Optional)

Prefer email? Send images of your prescription to [email protected]. We’ll handle uploading them to your MEDVi portal for you.

You can move from Level 1 to Level 2 without labs, but moving from Level 2 to Level 3 requires lab results after your second month.

No need to stress about expenses—we’ve got your lab costs covered!

Why are labs so important?

Labs are covered at no cost to you and become required after your second month for dosage increases, and mandatory after your third month to continue prescriptions. They’re essential for monitoring your body’s response to ensure safe, effective treatment.
